5/04 Advanced DNA testing helped the Camp Verde Marshal’s Office identify human remains found in April of 2025. The skeletal remains were found behind the Bashas complex. The testing positively identified the remains as those of 40-year-old Jeremiah Christian Mason of the Verde Valley. Investigators are now trying to determine his cause of death. Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Marshals Office.
