4/22 ADOT will start a bridge improvement project at I-17 and the Highway-179 exit to Sedona, this Sunday. Southbound I-17 will be narrowed to 1-lane, around the clock, so crews can make improvements to the bridge that spans over Highway-179. Drivers should be prepared for slower traffic through the work zone. A brake check area for semis will be in place at the southbound I-17 scenic overlook at milepost 312. The work should be finished sometime this summer.
