4/16 YCSO says they responded to a single-vehicle crash on I-40 this morning near Seligman, that forced the complete closure of the interstate. The initial investigation shows the driver of a semi, lost control of the vehicle, rolling it on to its side. The vehicle caused several high-voltage lines to fall across the interstate, trapping several motorists in their vehicles. The extent of injuries is not known and DPS is handling the remainder of the investigation. APS is working to secure the lines. A detour is in place through Crookton Road, but lengthy delays should be expected. The closure of the interstate is expected to continue for several more hours.
