3/23 Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests firefighters responded to the Rim Fire Saturday. Officials say forward progress on the fire was stopped at 1.2-acres. The human caused fire is located 5.5-miles southwest of Forest Lakes. Smoke is visible from Highway-260 and along the rim.
