1/8 Navajo Police in the Chinle District say speed and alcohol were likely factors in a crash that killed one person and critically injured two others. Shortly after noon on Tuesday, deputies responded to a crash on Route-12. Deputies found a truck, off the road and lying on its roof. Officials say all 3-occupants in the vehicle were not wearing their seatbelts and an open container of alcohol was found outside the vehicle. The crash forced the closure of the roadway for 7-hours. Names were not released.
