1/6 December 31-st, at 6-am, YCSO received a call from a man who stated he had to go to work and there would be no one home to watch his 2-children. The deputy told the man it was his responsibility to find a babysitter and to not leave the children alone. The deputy went to the address in Congress and found a generator running with an extension cord going into the house. Inside the house he found 2-infants, strapped in car seats and sitting in front of a space heater. The children were removed from the house and taken to a local station to keep warm. The parents were both located an hour later and taken into custody. The children were placed with the DCS. Names were not released.
