1/5 The Forest Service is conducting a burn at the Willard Springs Green Waste Site, south of Flagstaff, off Willard Springs Road and at the Mormon Lake Green Waste site on Mormon Lake Road. Both sites are opened in the spring so residents can dispose of pine needles, tree trimmings and other green waste. Motorists on I-17 and Mormon Lake Road may see some smoke. The piles are expected to smolder through at least the middle of the month.
