12/19 A lost mountain biker called 911 last night after becoming lost on Groom Creek Trail, near Groom Creek. The rider stated they could not find their way back to their vehicle. Yavapai County Search and Rescue and 4X4 Backcountry volunteers responded and used cell tower triangulation to quickly locate the person. The person was then escorted back to their vehicle.
