12/9 Prescott National Forest fire managers started a pile burn on the Bradshaw Ranger District, south of Prescott, Monday. The piles are the result of recent thinning projects conducted in the area. Burning will continue through January, weather permitting. Smoke is visible in Prescott, Prescott Valley, Wilhoit, Chino Valley and Dewey-Humboldt.
