12/2 The Town of Prescott Valley is warning residents about a scam. The town has received reports from the public regarding fraudulent emails claiming to be from the town, which contain invoices and request wire payments. Town officials say the emails are not from them and should be ignored. This is a phishing scam to see who will pay. The Town will never request a wire transfer through email. If you receive a suspicious email, contact the town and report it.
