5/11 Friday night, Verde Valley Fire and Cottonwood Fire responded to a house fire in Clarkdale. Officials say this was a challenge due to the home containing 40-pets. Crews kept the fire to the attic of the house and managed to rescue many of the animals. No injuries were reported. What caused the fire was under investigation.
