4/27 Last Wednesday, DPS stopped a driver in northern Arizona for speeding. During the stop, the Trooper developed probable cause to search the vehicle at which time 5-pounds of methamphetamine was found along with a loaded handgun. Both the driver and passenger were arrested and charged with several drug and weapons offenses. Exactly where the stop occurred and the names of the suspects were not released.
