8/27 The National Interagency Fire Center says 113-new wildfires were reported Wednesday across the country. This includes 7-new large fires in addition to the 94-large fires being fought. Officials say drones have been a major issue for them this fire season. So far this year there have been 73-drone incursions with the majority of those taking place in Washington state. If a drone is spotted over a wildfire, all aircraft are forced to land to avoid a collision. This puts firefighters in the air and on the ground at risk. There have been 0-drone incursions in Arizona this year.
