6/03 Prescott National Forest and the Arizona Department of Forestry will begin work on a 1,100-acre fuels reduction project, south of Prescott, next week. Officials say machinery and hand crews will thin the area over the next few months in an effort to make it more resistant to catastrophic wildfire. Badger and Turley Trails will remain open.
