10/08 A YCSO deputy likely saved a man’s life who was overdosing. A distressed woman recently called 911 and asked for help in the Yarnell area. The deputy located the woman who was with a man who was overdosing. The deputy administered Opvee and began life saving measures on the man until Fire and EMS crews arrived. The man and woman were transported to the hospital for treatment. YCSO says this incident highlights the extreme dangers of illicit drugs, particularly fentanyl. Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is 50-to-100-times more potent than morphine.
