10/07 Arizona State Gang Task Force detectives arrested 3-individuals linked to weapons trafficking. A months-long investigation led to 5-search warrants being executed in the Phoenix metro area in late September. Detectives recovered 32-firearms, including 23 that were reported stolen, suppressors, a Glock switch, items taken during burglaries and a small amount of fentanyl pills. Arrested were 22-year-old Charles Mendoza, 21-year-old Luis Pizano and 18-year-old Christopher Lopez. Two others were arrested on unrelated charges.
