11/4 Prescribed burning continues across several forests. Fire Managers are currently conducting broadcast burns or pile burns on the Prescott, Coconino, Kaibab, Tonto and Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests. Two burns are taking place north of Flagstaff this week. Kaibab National Forest is working a project north of Parks and southwest of Highway-180. The work begins today and continues through Thursday. In most cases, public warning signs are posted near the burns.
