10/09 The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety awarded 4-grants to the Prescott Valley Police Department, totaling more than $155-thousand. The money will be used to pay for the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program, DUI Patrols, Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Enforcement and protection prevention activities and education at schools, daycares, and other public events. Some of the funds will also be used to purchase car seats to give to people who may need one.
