10/27 Friday morning, YCSO Search and Rescue responded to a call of a female hiker that fell 10-to-15-feet while hiking in the Granite Mountain area of Prescott. The 30-year-old woman suffered a serious leg injury in the fall and it was determined the best way to get her out of the area was by short-haul. DPS Ranger Helicopter arrived and flew the patient to an ambulance, that in turn transported her to the hospital for treatment.
