Movies on the Square Returns to Downtown Flagstaff @ Heritage Square

The Flagstaff Downtown Business Alliance (FDBA) is thrilled to announce that Movies on the Square is back for another summer season on Heritage Square – Flagstaff’s downtown living room! Movies on the Square will resume every Saturday starting July 3rd, and will continue through the month of August. Live music and activities begin at 4pm, followed by an all-ages movie at dusk. As in the past, Movies on the Square will be a FREE event for visitors and locals alike to enjoy.

 

Attendees can expect to see some local favorites perform like Ryan Biter, Jacquie Foreman, The Dancing Grannies, F-Town Sound and even some surprise performances! Movie treats such as Fratelli’s Pizza, popcorn, and ice cream will be available for purchase at the concession stand. In addition, many downtown businesses offer takeout and delivery options making it easy for movie fans.

 

Terry Madeksza, Executive Director of the Flagstaff Downtown Business Alliance says, “We are excited to see Movies on the Square return to Heritage Square.  We invite everyone to grab a blanket or lawn chairs, bring the kids and join us for new and classic movies in the heart of Downtown Flagstaff!” The first movie of the season kicks off with a free showing of Pixar’s “Soul”, a live performance from Ryan Biter, and a free glow stick giveaway provided by Discover Flagstaff.

A legendary rivalry reemerges when Jerry moves into New York City’s finest hotel on the eve of the wedding of the century, forcing the desperate event planner to hire Tom to get rid of him.

As mayhem ensues, the escalating cat-and-mouse battle soon threatens to destroy her career, the wedding, and possibly the hotel itself.
