The Five C’s of Arizona, February 1st, 9AM-1PM

What are the five C’s of Arizona? Join Willow Bend to discover how cattle, citrus, copper, climate and cotton shaped Arizona’s history, then and now. Hands-on and interactive activities for all ages.

Science Saturday is an event held on the first Saturday of every month from 9am-1pm. Each month is focused on a different theme and each event offers fun and educational hands on activities. Artists, scientists, and experts join us on occasion to provide extra special opportunities to learn and explore. Thanks to generous funding from the Flagstaff Arts Council and the City of Flagstaff BBB Revenues, this event is FREE and open to the public. No need to RSVP, you are welcome to join anytime between 9am-1pm.

 

 

6th Annual Flagstaff Chocolate Walk
Feb 1 @ 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

This fun event is hosted by The Flagstaff Visitor Center and early bird passports double as a FREE MOVIE pass to “Charlie and The Chocolate Factory” at the Orpheum Theater!

The Chocolate Walk is a wondrous one day tasting adventure you can enjoy a variety of chocolate delights in all shapes and sizes, tasting your way across downtown. Contests such as the “People’s Choice Awards” and “Best Chocolate Walk Photo” are back! Put your taste buds to the test and tell us who you thought provided the best treat and don’t forget to snap a photo while walking and post it on social media with hashtag #FLGchocolatewalk, top voted photo will receive a chocolaty prize!

Kids 6-12: $5 (early bird) $6 (day of event)

Ages 13+: $8 (early bird) $9 (day of event)

Monday Night Movies @ Prescott Valley Public Library

Join the Prescott Valley Public Library (7401 E Skoog Blvd.) on February 3rd from 5:00- 7:00 pm for Monday Night Movies. This month we will be showing ‘Maleficent- Mistress of Evil’ starring Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, and Harris Dickinson. Maleficent and her goddaughter Aurora begin to question the complex family ties that bind them as they are pulled in different directions by impending nuptials, unexpected allies, and dark new forces at play.Location: 1st Floor Library Auditorium

Please note MNM is now the 1st Monday of the month not the 3rd.
