Swings and Strings Family Fun Day

Sedona Charter School presents Swings and Strings Family Fun Day, taking place at Sedona Charter School Campus on Friday May 3rd , and featuring $1000 Golf Ball Drop Grand Prize, Mini Putt Putt Golf Course, Face Painting, Bounce Houses, Games, Raffle Prizes, Silent Auction items, Excellent Food, and Much Much More!

Sedona Charter School is proud to bring Swings and Strings to Sedona for the first time! Swings and Strings is a family fun event for all ages! There will be games and activities, tons of great food and drinks, as well as amazing auction items and raffle prizes! But best of all, each $10 ball sponsor participant has the chance at winning the $1000 grand prize!!

Tickets for the Ball Drop can be purchased at Sedona Charter School prior to April 20th with100% proceeds going to the completion of the new Performing Arts Classroom and Installation of the Playground for Sedona Charter School-a community resource.

Better Business Bureau (BBB) is offering high school students residing in Yavapai, Coconino, Navajo and Apache County a chance to receive scholarship money. The Ethical Torch Essay program requires students to write a 400 word essay on the subject of “‘The Importance of Ethics and Integrity in the Community”. There is no cost to enter.

The deadline to submit essays and applications is Friday, August 30th. Five scholarships will be granted in the amounts of $500, $750, $1,000, $1,250 and $1500. Winners will be recognized at the annual Torch Awards for Ethics dinner on October 30, 2019. The BBB’s scholarship contest is part of the 2019 Torch Awards for Ethics which honors companies that demonstrate ethical business practices throughout operations, internally and to consumers.
