Flagstaff ArtWalk
Aug 6 @ 9:00 pm

ArtWalkFLG Presented by Nature Exposed Photography and produced by the Flagstaff Arts Council and the Downtown Business Alliance, will be returning to Downtown Flagstaff on the First Friday of the month starting June 4th, 2021.  The in-person ArtWalk will continue to showcase arts and culture downtown with many accounts offering unique experiences within their locations. Similar to before the pandemic, the event will run from 6-9pm with all businesses following CDC guidelines.

Like many event producers, when the pandemic hit the ArtWalk team was challenged to think outside the box to support the galleries downtown. In September 2020, “ArtWalkFLG-All Month Long” was created to encourage shopping the exhibits by being able to view pieces all month long. Now the community is encouraged to experience the vibrancy of the ArtWalkFLG in person downtown. Participating locations will be identified on a map listing, free of charge this year to help with recent hard times.

Downtown Flagstaff expects a few hundred people to attend the free event, one of the first large gatherings happening in months. While COVID-19 precautions will still be in place with visitors and businesses alike, the ArtWalk will hopefully be a step along the way to Flagstaff’s return to “normal.”

For participating businesses and more information visit ArtWalkFlg.org.

About the Flagstaff ArtWalk:

The Flagstaff ArtWalk happens every First Friday of the month with art galleries and businesses in historic Downtown Flagstaff opening their doors from 6-9pm with special art exhibitions, performances, live music, treats, and much more. Many downtown hot spots remain open after 9 pm as the ArtWalk celebrations continue. During warmer months, live performances and vendors can be found in Heritage Square. It’s Flagstaff monthly street party– the ArtWalk is one of those rare events that both locals and out-of-towners attend and enjoy. The Flagstaff Arts Council has recently partnered with The Flagstaff Downtown Business Alliance to co-produce the ArtWalk.
