The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors has scheduled the community cleanup for the Verde Valley. The cleanup will be open to Yavapai County residents at no charge on March 21-st, 22-nd, 23-rd, 28-th,29-th, 30-th, and April 4-th, 5-th, and 6-th, from 8-to-4 each day. All items can be disposed of at the Camp Verde Transfer Station. It’s hoped residents will take this opportunity to rid their properties of unwanted trash and prepare for wildfire season.
Thank you for making available to Yavapai County residents a Community Cleanup at the Camp Verde Transfer Station. We took advantage of two of the three weekends to dispose of debris that had accumulated on our property. We appreciated that the service was provided free of charge as we took several loads. The event was extremely well run and everyone was incredibly helpful. I hope that these days are again offered in the future. We would love to see the program expanded to a few times a year. Thank you again I feel we are better prepared for the fire season.
