Native Americans for Community Action, in partnership with the City of Flagstaff, is excited to announce Native American Heritage Week activities for our community to celebrate and enjoy.
In celebration and encouragement of November being National Native American Heritage Awareness Month, NACA’s team has put together community activities and cultural event practices throughout the whole week of November 16-21. Included in this weeks’ activities is a Native American virtual hair tying presentation, a 5k run/walk including a FREE cooling towel for participants, an Indigenous children’s book reading, and a gratitude walk at Buffalo Park.
NACA is encouraging the whole community to participate, celebrate, and continue to learn more about Native American heritage in Northern Arizona, and Indigenous cultural traditions.
