Wendy Knight, RN, BSN is offering education for people caring for their loved ones in the home, who may have general questions about health, disease process, and caregiving. Wendy has been caring for patients in their homes for over 24 years as a hospice nurse, as well as six years in the acute hospital setting. She is familiar with multiple diseases, and their complications and can help to educate and instruct you.
Wendy can speak to you about your loved one’s daily care, medications, disease process and community resources. If you have a personal question, she can speak to you privately by phone, or afterwards. If she can’t answer the question right away, she will get back with you with the information you need.
Caring for your loved ones is stressful and if you don’t have enough support, or don’t know where to turn, she can help direct you to the best resources to improve your loved ones care. If no one has specific questions, she will make available handouts and fliers on a variety of topics and resources to assist you.
