ABC’s of Weight Loss without Dieting & Quitting Smoking or any Addiction–Guaranteed
“People can have an allergy-addiction syndrome to food, as I had, and not realize it,” says Dr. Richard Ruhling, a physician who taught Health Science at Loma Linda University. He says some weight problems are from unrecognized addictions like tobacco, and that any addiction can be conquered with the ABC strategy that he will explain in a free program at the Cottonwood Public Library on Saturday, January 12. The program takes place in the Dede Ewald Room at 12:30 p.m.
Ruhling says his program works so well that he personally is on the lower edge of optimal weight. He will introduce the 5-Day Plan that was designed physiologically to minimize craving and withdrawal symptoms. People who smoke can be successful if they follow this program for only five days. Over 100 participants at the University of Arizona had not smoked in the previous 24 hours on the last night of the plan.
Most adults struggle with weight and it’s a risk factor for heart, cancer, stroke, blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis, surgery, mood swings and disability. Ruhling will show a DVD that explains weight loss without dieting and helps smokers to quit without gaining weight.
