The Arizona Department of Transportation is taking public comment on their 5-year plan. In addition to general maintenance across the state, the nearly $10-billion plan includes expanding several key highways, such as Highway-260, east of Payson and Highway-93 between Wickenburg and Wikieup. Comments on the plan are due by May 22-nd.
The FY 2027-2031 tentative Five-Year Transportation Facilities Construction Program and an overview of major expansion projects identified in the program are available at azdot.gov/tentative5year.
The public can provide comments on the tentative Five-Year Program in the following ways:
