The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for daytime lane restrictions on southbound Interstate 17 between State Route 169 and Orme/Dugas roads from Tuesday, April 9, to Thursday, April 11.
Drivers should plan for the following daytime restrictions from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.:
- Southbound I-17 will be reduced to one lane between the junction with SR 169 and Orme/Dugas roads (milepost 273-270).
- The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph in the work zone.
- There will be a 14-foot vehicle width restriction in the work zone.
These restrictions are needed so crews can safely make guardrail repairs.
