Quiet weather will be short lived after today: winds will increase Thursday and peak Friday afternoon ahead of our next weather system that will bring rain and snow showers later Friday into early Saturday morning. Winds will be the bigger story with this system as overall moisture availability with this system will be lower. Likewise, it will not be stalling over the region like the past several storms system have done so. Another storm system will move in for the start of next work week with even less moisture availability.
