11/15 Travelers in the Old Town area can expect changing traffic conditions from November 18 through November 22 to facilitate APS underground utility work at the intersection of Main St. and Cactus St. November 18 and 19 – Northbound Cactus St. will be closed to through traffic at Pinal St. A detour using eastbound Pinal St. to Main St. will be available.
November 20 – Southbound Main St. at Cactus St. will be closed. Northbound Main St. will remain open. A detour route will be available using southbound Cactus St. to eastbound Pinal St. Drivers are encouraged to use Groseta Ranch Rd. as an alternate route.
November 21 and 22 – Main St. will be closed in both directions at Cactus St. Southbound Main St. traffic will be detoured using southbound Cactus St. to eastbound Pinal St. Northbound Main St. will be closed to through traffic at Pinal St. Northbound Main St. traffic will be detoured using westbound Pinal St. to northbound Cactus St. Drivers traveling southbound on Main St. are encouraged to use Groseta Ranch Rd. as an alternate route.
The City of Cottonwood would like to remind all travelers to follow temporary traffic signs. Speeds will be reduced through the work zone. Old Town business access will be maintained at all times.
