Tuesday, Kaibab National Forest crews began firing operations on the Lockett Fire. Crews are working along Forest Roads-307 and 310 and along dozer and hand lines connecting the 2-roads. A 3-mile section of the Arizona Trail is temporarily being rerouted along Forest Road-310. Smoke is visible in Tusayan and Grand Canyon National Park.
