This morning, March 24, 2023, a Flagstaff Unified School District school bus was driving on Slayton Ranch Road when it became stuck in a sinkhole created by water flows on the roadway. There were no students on board the bus at the time, and no reported injuries to the driver.
Slayton Ranch Road has been closed indefinitely while the situation is assessed by Flagstaff Unified School District and Coconino County officials.
