Racers are starting their engines around Arizona as the Verde Valley Grand Prix is coming to Camp Verde Feb. 4-5. It will be at the Camp Verde Equestrian Center and will feature UTVs, quads, trikes, and bikes for all ages and all ability levels. Founder and co-owner of Arizona Offroad Promotions Kyle Krause is bringing this event to the Verde Valley for the first time ever, saying it’s in a prime location. Krause and his crew put on roughly 10 Arizona races a year, and one in Blythe, California. Due to land-loss issues, the previous race scheduled in Yuma was moved to Camp Verde. Krause is looking forward to the riding conditions. With the recent snowfall in Northern Arizona, it will make for perfect riding dirt as it melts. The underneath layer will stay firm while the top layer will stay moist.
