Park Fees Waived Saturday for National Public Lands Day

Prescott National Forest to waive day-use fees on National Public Lands Day. The Forest Service is offering a fee-free day, which includes the Prescott National Forest, Saturday. NPLD, the nation’s largest, single-day volunteer effort for public lands, also provides an opportunity for more Americans to get outdoors and connect with their public lands. The theme for NPLD 2022 is “Giving Back Together,” allowing for Americans to participate in trail restoration, trash cleanup and other projects at various in-person, virtual and hybrid events. NPLD is one of five annual fee-free days that waives entrance fees at national forests, national parks and other federal-land management agencies under the Federal Lands Recreation Act.
