Prescott Valley Police receives gun locks and firearm safety information from the National Shooting Sports Foundation under Project Childsafe

The Prescott Valley Police Department has received gun locks and firearm safety information
from the National Shooting Sports Foundation under Project Childsafe. We are making these
items available free of charge to the public. According to recent information published by CBS
news, it is estimated that about 46% of adults in this state have guns in their homes. With
gun ownership, there is also a great responsibility for safe handling and safe storage. The gun
locks are available at the Prescott Valley Police Dept lobby while supply lasts with a limit of
two per family.
