Sale of the city’s McCormick Street property, an agreement for preservation of open space on
Glassford Hill, and changes to the city’s policy for naming buildings, will be among the issues
the Prescott City Council will consider this week. The council will conduct its regular voting
meeting at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, at Prescott City Hall, 201 S. Cortez St. Up for
consideration will be the sale of about a half-acre of land at 215 and 223 N. McCormick St.,
near downtown Prescott. After months of advertising the property for sale, the council will
consider selling to Founding Fathers Properties LLC for $466,000.
