Kaibab National Forest officials say crews are working on the Reed Prescribed Fire Project, 3-miles east of Tusayan, over the next few weeks. Crews plan to burn small blocks each day reduce the amount of smoke in the area. Some smoke will likely be visible in Tusayan and along Highway-64 during the day with smoke settling into low lying areas overnight.
