Tonto National Forest fire managers will be conducting a 15,000-acre prescribed burn. The burn will begin Tuesday and continue through December 6-th. The burn area is located north of Pleasant Valley, along Forest Roads-512-and-128. Smoke will impact Forest Road-512, the OW Ranch, Forest Lakes, Canyon Creek Fish Hatchery and Pleasant Valley. In the evening hours, smoke will settle in Pleasant Valley as it moves down Cherry Creek. Crews will halt burning at 3-pm each day.
