Flagstaff to celebrate “Make a Difference Day” by assisting residents impacted by post wildfire flooding

Members of the public are invited to join the Flagstaff’s Sustainability Section for this year’s Make a Difference Day on Saturday. This year, participants will have the opportunity to assist residents affected by flooding resulting from the Museum Fire in 2019. Volunteers are asked to wear closed-toe shoes, sun protection, long pants, and gloves and bring a refillable water bottle, as well as a rake or shovel if they have them. They will meet at the Coconino County Health and Human Services at the north end of the parking lot. Registration and orientation will begin at 7:30-am and the event will end around 2:30-pm. Contact the city for more information.
