Schultz Pass Road will be closed to motorized vehicles for up to two weeks while crews work to move slash from Schultz Creek trailhead to the staging area at Schultz Pass. While Schultz Pass Road will remain open to non-motorized use, several large dump trucks will be operating in the area. Hiker and bikers are asked to use caution around the area. The slash hauling operations are part of the Midway project, which is part of the longer ongoing Flagstaff Watershed Protection Project.
