Yavapai County School Superintendent Tim Carter appointed Yady Carpenter to a vacancy on the Bagdad Unified School District Governing Board due to the resignation of former board member, Teresa Price. Carpenter will serve in the position until the end of next year. Carpenter is a graduate of Bagdad High School and studied accounting at Yavapai College. She has been a resident of the district for 25-years and has two children within the district. A total of 3-people applied for the position.
