Just before 7-am Monday morning, Prescott Police responded to the 300-block of Hassayampa Village Lane regarding a suspicious subject. Lead Police Officer Sean Hilton says the reporting party indicated the man was walking through the neighborhood and looking into homes. Arriving officers heard a home alarm and found 32-year old Ernesto Mireles exiting the house, which was supposed to be vacant. He says the sliding glass door to the house was severely damaged. The Prescott man was jailed on burglary and criminal damage charges.
