Wednesday, Chino Valley Police and tri-city agencies partnered together to conduct a speed enforcement detail in Chino Valley and surrounding areas. The 4-hour detail resulted in 46-traffic stops, 27-speed citations, 3-seat belt citations, 1-distracted driving citation and 11-other citations. While on the detail, officers stopped two vehicles traveling at a high rate of speed. One traveling 80-mph in a 55-zone and another traveling 91 in a 65-mph zone. The detail was made possible with funding from The Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety.
