People 65 and older added to 1b phase of vaccinations, but vaccinations are in low supply

The Arizona Department of Health Services has now added people 65-and older to the priority populations in the 1b phase of COVID-19 vaccinations. Both Yavapai and Coconino Counties say all current vaccine doses they have are matched with already booked appointments. There are currently no available appointments for vaccinations in either county. Additional appointment times will be added when more vaccine supplies are received. Yavapai County is expecting to begin vaccinations through grocery store pharmacies next week; private providers won’t likely see doses for a few more weeks.
