Chino Valley Unified School District to return to distance learning Monday due to COVID-19

The Chino Valley Unified School District will return to distance learning next Monday. The Governing Board Tuesday voted to return to distance learning on all campuses through the end of the semester, which is December 17-th, due to COVID-19 cases. The board made their decision based on the recommendation of Superintendent John Scholl and Yavapai County Health Department Director Leslie Horton. The plan is to return to in-person learning when classes resume January 4-th. Students, staff and parents will receive the needed materials through the remainder of this week in preparation for the start of Monday’s distance learning.
