The Cottonwood Police Department has listed 24-year old Brandon Michael or “Mike” Mackinnon as wanted. Sgt Monica Kuhlt says Mackinnon is wanted for the hit-and-run of a 65-year old bicyclist Monday morning. She says witnesses reported that Mackinnon ran into the man while on North Main Street and then sped off. A witness followed Mackinnon, who abandoned his truck in an alley on East Mingus Avenue. The bicyclist was taken to VVMC for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. If you have information on his whereabouts, call Cottonwood Police or Yavapai Silent Witness.
