PANT detective make arrests of those involved in dangerous drug activity

Earlier this month, PANT detectives received information that 59-year old Kenneth Wesson was selling meth from a home in the 900-block of Pike Place in Prescott. YCSO spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn says on September 10-th, detectives obtained a search warrant for Wesson and his residence. Prescott Police located Wesson outside the home and took him into custody. During the search, detectives seized more than 23 grams of meth along with marijuana and numerous items consistent with drug sales. D’Evelyn says information obtained during the search on Pike Place indicated 74-year old Carlton Godwin was selling the drugs to Wesson. When detectives searched his property in the 300-block of South Alarcon Street, Godwin fled into the bathroom where he apparently flushed illicit drugs. He was taken into custody shortly after.
