COVID-19 Numbers 8-4-20

New cases of COVID-19 in the state continue to drop and Governor Doug Ducey is asking the public to keep doing what they’re doing because it’s working. The Arizona Department of Health is reporting 1,008-new cases today, down from the 3-to-4,000-cases we were seeing just 2-weeks ago. Since the pandemic began, Arizona has confirmed 180,505-cases. Deaths rose by 66-Monday to 3,845. Just over 1.2-million people in the state have been tested. Yavapai County Health Department is reporting 1,898-cases with 66-deaths and 613-recoveries. There are 25-people hospitalized. Coconino County Health Department is reporting 2,886-cases with 113-deaths and 2,089-recoveries. There are 6-people hospitalized.
