Coconino County Health and Human Services recommends taking extra precautions when participating in Independence Day activities due to COVID-19. Avoid close contact with others, and avoid large groups. Wash hands frequently, disinfect frequently touched surfaces, practice social distancing and stay home if you’re sick. Officials say after the holiday weekend, testing will resume at Fort Tuthill on Monday and will continue to be available Monday through Friday from 10-to-3. Testing is provided on a first come first served basis. Everyone at the testing site is required to wear a mask or face covering.
